Tomorrow’s Scientists, Technicians & Managers (T.S.T.M.)

The McLean County T.S.T.M. Program was designed to help meet needs in McLean County by encouraging and motivating youth who have the ability to acquire the necessary prerequisite educational skills to pursue careers in science, technology,

engineering, and business.

In September 2003, the National Urban League and State Farm Insurance Companies launched the Baldrige in Education Initiative (BiE IN) in three locations: Peoria/McLean County; Champaign, IL;

and Fort Lauderdale, FL, to improve the overall operating systems within these local communities.

BiE IN creates a framework through which local stakeholders and communities assume leadership

in transforming their own education systems. It enables them to improve overall school effectiveness, use of resources and capabilities.
